Glenkarma offers a wonderful self catering home located in Glentana Heuwels, Groot Brakrivier, close to George in the Western Cape's Garden Route, South Africa.
Unwind on the bottom part of a 25 hectare farm with stunning views of the sea and mountains around. The newly renovated farm house has high ceilings, lots of natural light and you can hear the crushing waves from your bed at night. Sit on the wooden deck and stare at the ocean, enjoy the lush garden, take a walk up the mountain, book the tennis court or go to the beach.
The house sleeps 9 guests and consist of 4 bedrooms, full kitchen, dining room, three living areas, two barbeque areas, a wooden deck and a lush garden.
The property is walking distance from the swimming beach. Shops and restaurants in Groot Brakrivier are 10 minutes’ drive away.
Glentana is a little seaside town, with pristine beaches, where you can swim in the sea, and take walks along the shore. Recently, the principal beach received the Blue Flag status. Ideal for larger tour groups or family vacations. Even during peak season, the neighbourhood is serene, calm, and quiet, and the beaches are seldom packed. Neighbours are cordial, understanding, and eager to help one another. This is the perfect place if you want some peace and quiet with the surrounding natural beauty.
George airport is 13 km away, and there are reliable taxi and car rental services available. The road infrastructure is excellent, with the N2 (National Highway) connecting Cape Town and Port Elizabeth just 5 minutes away. All of the roads are tarred, and the house has private parking.
The Garden Route is home to several well-known golf courses, and golf tours would love this setting. Glentana is a great launching pad to explore the Garden Route and Klein Karoo.
We are very close to George, Fancourt, Oubaai, Herolds Bay, Vic Bay, Wilderness, Oudtshoorn and Mossel Bay.

Terms & Conditions
- The property (you) must offer the 15% saving to all verified members
- Verification is done automatically at the time of an enquiry. It is at the property’s discretion whether to offer the saving for a telephonic enquiry. (As you have no means to verify the membership number, it is advisable to get them to do a formal enquiry so they can be verified).
- If the property is currently running a "Special" greater than 15% then the "Special" price will apply. (No further savings needs to be offered). EXCEPT in the case where the "Special" is lower than 15%. In that case the 15% will apply.
Example: A property offering a 10% discount, must offer an additional 5% discount to valid members - so they get a total 15% saving. - The property must offer valid members the saving all year round. (Properties that pick and chose in which seasons to participate run the risk of being removed from the programme completely. Allowing selective participation defeats the integrity of this initiative).
- The property must not inflate the price before the 15% is applied. Prices displayed should be the rack rate. (The official or advertised price of a room).
- The property must honour any bookings made while the property was participating as a $elect Stays property.
- The property must honour the agreement and the spirit in which the initiative is designed to benefit local tourism.
